Subject: xml:id One Step Away From Being a Recommendation
In case you missed it… xml:id One Step Away From
Being a Recommendation Bob DuCharme, O'Reilly
Developer Weblogs I've often said that greater
possibilities for addressing resources and points within resources
means greater possibilities for linking, and the new predefined
attribute 'xml:id' can make a lot of straightforward, simple

check out discussions of its good and bad points [written in articles]
by David Megginson, Norm Walsh, their readers who contributed
comments, and, more recently, Elliotte Rusty Harold. http://www.oreillynet.com/pub/wlg/7394 See also the W3C news item: http://www.w3.org/News/2005#item97 Rob Philpott |
