Subject: SAML 1.0 or 1.1

Hi Ed,

I would recommend looking at SAML 1.1 or SAML 2.0. There are many SAML
1.1 implementations available (including www.opensaml.org)
but it lacks the extensive functionality available OOB in SAML 2.0.

SAML 2.0 is the more up-to-date standard and there at least a dozen
vendors who offer pretty complete implementations. I cannot recommend
companies on this list, but the list of companies participating in the
TC is a good starting point.
