The U.S. federal E-Authentication program has announced its support of
SAML V2.0:

The E-Authentication program has incorporated SAML V2.0 Browser SSO
with HTTP POST Binding into its Technical Architecture:

(Previously, the architecture supported only SAML V1.0 Browser/Artifact.)
