Subject: Balloting for OASIS Standard - XSPA Profile of Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) for Healthcare Version 1.0
To OASIS members:
On 1 October 2009 review materials were sent out for the
following Committee Specification set that has been submitted for
consideration as an OASIS Standard:
Cross-Enterprise Security and Privacy Authorization (XSPA) Profile of
Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) for Healthcare Version 1.0
Documents:

This Committee Specification was approved by the TC and was
subject to a required 60-day public review. Afterwards, the review
materials were sent out to the membership of OASIS for the required 15-
day familiarization period. Those materials can be found at:
http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/tc-announce/200910/msg00001.html
As the required review and familiarization periods have now been
completed, it is time to vote. I am sending out a Call For Vote to the
voting representatives of each organizational member of OASIS. The
applicable process rules can be found at:
http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/process-2009-07-30.php#OASISstandard
. The minimum number of affirmative votes required to approve this
ballot is 47.
As each OASIS organizational member has only one vote,
participants should give their input to their organization's voting
representative. If you don't know the identity of your organization's
voting representative is, go to the My Account page at
http://www.oasis-open.org/members/user_tools then select the link for
View Company Roster, then look for the name designated as "Primary".
The ballot can be viewed at:
