Subject: Kavi voting roster for CS ballot on
SSTC Chairs/Secretaries, I need for one of the TC officers to confirm that the voting roster in Kavi is accurate WRT the CS ballot (special majority) I need to open [1]. Please send me notification with corrections or indication that the following persons are now eligible to vote in the CS ballot: Anil Saldhana Chad La Joie David Staggs Emily Xu Frederick Hirsch Hal Lockhart Nathan Klingenstein Phil Hunt Rob Philpott Scott Cantor Thinh Nguyenphu Thomas Hardjono The CS elctronic ballot would normally run for seven (7) days, by default. If you want it to run longer, please let me know. I have identified the target spec below [1] -- despite some ambiguities in the minutes and ballot submission request [2] Cheers, and apologies for delay. - Robin Robin Cover Interim TC Administrator OASIS, Director of Information Services Editor, Cover Pages and XML Daily Newslink Email: robin@oasis-open.org Staff bio: http://www.oasis-open.org/who/staff.php#cover Cover Pages: http://xml.coverpages.org/ Newsletter: http://xml.coverpages.org/newsletterArchive.html Tel: +1 972-296-1783 ========================== References: [1] SAML v2.0 Metadata Profile for Algorithm Support Version 1.0 Committee Specification Draft 02 / Public Review Draft 02 2 November 2010 Authoritative (.odt) and XML schema (.xsd): http://docs.oasis-open.org/security/saml/Post2.0/sstc-saml-metadata-algsupport-v1.0-csprd02.odt [http://docs.oasis-open.org/security/saml/Post2.0/sstc-saml-metadata-algsupport-v1.0-csprd02.html http://docs.oasis-open.org/security/saml/Post2.0/sstc-saml-metadata-algsupport-v1.0-csprd02.pdf ] http://docs.oasis-open.org/security/saml/Post2.0/sstc-saml-metadata-algsupport-v1.0-csd02.xsd [2] motion to ballot as CS SAML V2 Metadata Profile Scott, I think we need to request a ballot. Hal we need a simple majority. Scott: the motion is in the email. We need a better way to deal with cross-referenced material in the futures (for the schema). Other than that, it should be a straight forward vote. There have been a couple of inquiries but no change to the document. Scott: Motion to request the TC to create a CS (?) ballot. Hal: seconded. No objections. Motion passed. [http://docs.oasis-open.org/TChandbook/Reference/CommitteeSpecs.html "motion must include the CSPRD number and approval date" ]
