Subject: Re: Starter Documents for SAML Version 2.1

Hi Scott and all,

Attached please find the updated starter documents for SAML v2.1, with two-digit numbering in the titles and file names, etc.

As the TC defines additional Parts for the SAML V2.1 Work Product, please send in a request for each additional starter document.  I'll also be happy to modify the numbering for any of these existing Parts if needed.

I should also mention that the document Editor (probably you) does not need to maintain or update the titles or URIs of the items listed under "Additional artifacts."  That will be handled by TC Administration during each publication. I believe the only thing you'll need to adjust in the "Front Matter" (i.e., the material above the Table of Contents) is the text for the Abstract.

Best regards,
Paul

Hi Scott,

I'll be happy to prepare the docs with two-digit numbering..It will help the parts appear in order in file listings, etc.
(Instead of:
part1
part10
part2
part3
...)

No need to submit additional request form(s).

Should be back to you a bit later today...

Best regards,
Paul

I figured.

I think that would be wise just in case if you want to use a fixed width
for the number.

Our problem is we aren't far enough into the process to know yet, and when
we did it originally, we didn't have numbered documents.

I don't mind having to adjust the metadata in the event I have to renumber.

Should I fill out a new ticket to request the two digit numbering or can
you take care of that?

Yes, we did that originally, that's nothing new.

Thanks.
