cont'd 3. Do not embed the figure number or caption in the actual graphic. Use word's caption feature to do that. 4. When referring to a figure, create a cross reference to the figure in word. Reason: Figure 2.1 to you may be figure 4.3 to me. 5. As much as it pains me...please use the OASIS template, or ask me for a paste of your section into a fresh document. To make sure the document stays consistent, I am using styles and fonts defined by the OASIS template wherever possible.
