I would classify certifications and licensing as attributes.  So for
example, someone may have a diploma for med school but their role may be
one of Neurologist, Nephrologist, Oncologist, etc. Narrowing things, Joe
the plumber may prove his plumbing skills with evidence of a plumber's
certification.

Reputation relates to those things that are subjective, like a
willingness to hire Joe based on glowing online reviews.  A
stakeholder's willingness to authorize a participant based on subjective
evidence is so prevalent that I felt it deserved a front row seat and
changed the common use of credentials to credibility.

Note that willingness is not used in the secure interactions diagram
because it is more appropriately addressed as part of a broader
discussion about the ecosystem and trust covered in Section 3.

validation be performed? Would it be a subset of the role or attribute
to the Credibility?
