Title: Re: [soa-rm] David Linthicum Says: "ESB versus Fabric.Stop
You're welcome Rex. I'd be interested to know what thoughts of David's are similar to your own (the ESB vs. Fabric, the 6 levels of SOA, or both). Dave's stuff is usually excellent (I've been reading and highly recommend his latest book, "Next Generation Application Integration").

I brought Dave in this past January to speak at my company on SOA, on behalf of Grand Central (I bring in one SOA vendor/speaker every month) - his presentation was very insightful.

Thanks, Joe,

Similar thoughts to my own in this piece... so naturally I like it.

Ciao,
Rex

Forwarding a very interesting and pertinent piece[1] from David Linthicum's (CTO of Grand Central) blog, titled "ESB versus FabricİStop It!". David also discusses 6 different "levels" of SOA, ranging from simple single point-to-point SOAP messages (Level 0) to SOA that incorporates orchestration (Level 5).
