While this announcement is regarding a SOA maturity
model rather than a SOA reference model, I believe it's good for our awareness.
Several companies have just announced their creation of a SOA Maturity
Model. They are:

Software

Systinet

AmberPoint
- BearingPoint
The model outlines the five key phases of the SOA lifecycle,
from initial projects to evolution into an "enterprise nervous system". There is
no mention of an open standards consortium - so this is stricly an industry
initiative, at least for the time being.
