Subject: RE: [soa-rm] SOA-RM translation

Although I've been offline a fair bit in the last couple of weeks, I would
re-confirm my offer to go through the Portuguese translation and raise any
potential issues or questions.

As I understand, only the English text is authentic, translations being
offered as a facility to broaden the coverage.

Regards from Croatia,

Peter

Subject: [soa-rm] SOA-RM translation

Dear Sr Bueno: Thank you for your offer. We would be delighted to have
your assistance and help make the translation more broadly available.
If you can provide a URI or a copy of your document, I believe that
several of the SOA-RM Technical Committee members would be happy to read
your work in Portuguese, and, if they have questions, offer comments to you,
as assistance.
I believe the committee's work on the Reference Model v1.0 is nearly
finished. You may wish to confirm that the version you have used is the
final and most current one.
For publication of the final document, we use a specific policy for these
matters, which can be found at [1]. I believe it can be explained in this
way: The translation should remain owned by you, and give you credit as
author. The finished document should remain posted at a website under your
control (or perhaps the Universidade). If we have your permission to post
it, and the document attaches the notices that our policy requires, then we
would be happy to post links to it, and bring it to the attention of our
global community. The required notices are used to state to readers the
source of the translation, and the location where the original approved copy
is available.
We agree that the OASIS SOA-RM TC has provided a very useful resource.
We are very pleased to hear that their work is useful as a reference for the
Universidade as well, and I know that the committee members also are
pleased.
We would be happy to hear of your future progress in working on SOA and
e-commerce activities.

Kind regards Jamie Clark
