Ken, all--

I think this is the para Ken asked me to review. This is my recommended version. I changed it quite a bit, shooting for brevity and clarity without (I hope) altering meaning.

Michael said that one should not say something is an "SOA service" since SOA is an architecture. He agreed with Martin's suggestion that it would be OK to characterize a particular service as implementing the SOA design pattern or architecture, providing that the service observes the requirements and constraints of the architecture.
