Subject: RE: found references on COS
Hi Mike, Is COS materially different from the concept of “service orientation” … that formulation has (IIRC) been used fairly widely in the past, with the effect I think your aiming at
with COS … i.e., service orientation is comprised of but more than the sum of an interrelated set of “service-oriented <x>” aspects … where x is “architecture”, “infrastructure”, “enterprise” (the big three in my view) and so forth…? Avanti, BobN From: Mike Poulin [mailto:mpoulin@usa.com]
It seems that for the last 3 years nobody but me came with the same wording (Concept of Orientation on Service): This can be a new 'word' from OASIS - subject of your opinions. - Michael |
