Observation #4: As seen in Observation #2, a test assertion predicate may be a Boolean expression - a composition of atomic predicates using logical operators AND, OR, NOT. As indicated in Observation #3, a test assertion predicate may also be of the kind: “if (condition) then (expression) – which is just another way to represent the Boolean expression: (expression) OR NOT(condition) – where both condition and expression are in turn predicates as defined here.
The key point in this tutorial-style section, being to illustrate (as much as possible) every notion with an example.
