1. ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS
    1.1 APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MINUTES

    The 2011-12-13 Minutes were approved without objection

2. TA GUIDELINES REPOSITIONED AS COMMITTEE NOTE (CND)

The ballot to approve the TA Guidelines as a CND concluded successfully.

Jacques will request submission of the CND for public review.  After successful Public Review, it can be balloted as a Committee Note (CN).

3. TEST ASSERTIONS MODEL VERSION 1.0 AND TEST ASSERTION MARKUP LANGUAGE VERSION 1.0 COMMITTEE SPECIFICATIONS

The final URIs for the specifications have been posted - 2011-12-22.  The web page is updated.

There is a statement of use for both parts from Document Engineering Services.

The TC reviewed candidates for other statements of use.  Fujitsu and WS-I participants (especially Oracle) are candidates.  Also, the OASIS SCA TC has produced TA documents.

Jacques will concentrate on statements of use in the remainder of January. 

Our goal is to make official requests to OASIS by end of March for submission of the Committee Specifications as Candidate OASIS Standards for public review. A ballot on OASIS Standard would likely be in the Summer.

It is desirable to have the TA Guidelines Committee Note available for consultation during the Candidate OASIS Standard public reviews for the two Committee Specifications.


4. NEXT MEETING

The next meeting will be on Tuesday, February 14, 2012, at the regular time (22:00Z UTC, 14:00 PST).  A later date will be chosen if the Public Review of TA Guidelines CND01 is not completed.

The intended approach is to meet monthly from now on, since most work will be outside of the TC and the TC simply needs to keep the process moving.
