Public Review of WS-Resource Framework Specifications

    The OASIS Web Services Recource Framework TC has approved the following specification documents and related documents as
Committee Drafts and approved the package for a 15-day public review:

    WS-Resource specification
    WS-ResourceProperties (WSRF-RP) specification
    WS-ResourceLifetime (WSRF-RL) specification
    WS-ServiceGroup (WSRF-SG) specification
    WS-BaseFaults (WSRF-BF) specification

The public review starts today, 13 October 2005, and ends 28 October 2005. This specification was previously submitted for a 60-day
public review on July 6, 2005[1]; the 15-day review is limited in scope to changes made from the previous review. Each document has
changes marked, and a change log is provided. This is an open invitation to comment.  

    Public review from potential users, developers and stakeholders is an important part of the OASIS process to assure
interoperability and quality. Comments are solicited from all interested parties. Please feel free to distribute this announcement
within your organization and to other appropriate mail lists.  

    More non-normative information about the specification and the technical committee may be found at the public home page of the
TC at http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/wsrf. Comments may be submitted to the TC by any person, by a web-form that can be
reached either on that page, via the button marked  "Send A Comment" at the top of that page, or directly at
http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/comments/form.php?wg_abbrev=wsrf

    Submitted comments (for this work as well as other works of that TC) are publicly archived and can be viewed at
http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/wsrf-comment/. All comments submitted to OASIS are subject to the OASIS Feedback License, to
assure that the comment may be freely re-used by the TC;  the license terms can be found on the comment web-form.
