Subject: RE: [tm-pubsubj] RE: Groups - oasis - Ballot "Approval of Deliverable 1 as TC Recommendation" has closed
OK folks, let's try to wrap this up. Some have cast their vote before London meeting, through first ballot (Vote 1), and considered it done ... Some have gone through the second "official" ballot (Vote 2) ... Some have done it twice, to make sure ... Some have cast their vote by e-mail, but not through Kavi. All votes are "Yes", for 14 voting members out of 15, one way or another. Only one member (Michael) did not vote at all. Here is the sum up (arbitrary order) Vote 1 Vote 2 E-mail Jim M. - Yes - Lars Marius G. - Yes - Steve P. - Yes - Thomas B. Yes Yes - Suellen S-H. Yes - - Holger R. Yes - - Don S. - - Yes Vivian B. - - Yes Bernard V. - Yes - Eric F. Yes - - Mary N. - Yes - Patrick D. - Yes - Motomu N. Yes Yes - Michael P. - - - Considering that - results would have certainly been the same through one clear unique vote, - going through yet another vote to make it formal would be unuseful hassle, - the overwhelming majority of Yes (93%), Unless formal opposition of any voting member (that would lead to yet another vote) I propose that: - We declare Deliverable 1 approved as a Committee Specification - We ask the editor to make the last brushing-up of the document, based on the comments of Mary, Peter and Holger: 1. (Holger) Change the reference from "ISO 13250:2002" to "ISO 13250:2003" 2. (Peter) Expand the titles "Requirement 1" ... to "PSI must be URI" ... in the ToC 3. (Mary) Change "author" to "editor" and place the list of contributors after the editor. For the latter, I consider that to include all current and past members of the TC. A pending issue is now to get a definitive address and format for that document. As Patrick reminds us, a kind of "official format" is available at http://www.oasis-open.org/spectools/ Since so far we can only upload standalone documents in Kavi system, I suggest that we end up with a PDF version if we want it published under OASIS namespace. OTOH, this is not mandatory it seems, since for example the UDDI V2, recently approved as an OASIS standard, is published under UDDI namespace. See UDDI TC page at http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/uddi-spec/doc/tcspecs.htm The actual document is at: http://uddi.org/pubs/ProgrammersAPI-V2.04-Published-20020719.htm Ideas ?
