[...] Yes, this was what I was alluding to: if you've done anything to alter the original vanilla installation of IE, its XML handling may be toast. And nobody in their right mind would hand-edit configuration files on Windows... that's just *asking* for trouble. So you do what one has always done on Windows when there's a problem: reinstall the OS. Or hire a consultant. Murray ...........................................................................
