Tony proposed to accept the minutes as a true and accurate record of the last meeting. Gerard seconded.

3/Proposed OASIS Multi-Lingual eBusiness Technical Committee
Peter reported on a conference call he attended on the initiative to establish an new TC propose by the CEO of OASIS, Patrick Gannon. The call was attended by Peter, Patrick, Lars Hornborg (http://wscc.info) and Michael Bourke (on behalf of the LRC). Other Trans-WS members had received Patrick's previous emails on the rationale for this proposed new group but were not convinced on its relevance. They will observe developments but not participate, at least not for the time being, apart from Peter and Reinhard.

4/ draft specification
Peter had circulated the amended draft prior to the meeting. This included the work done by Gerard and Andrzej. The objective now is to turn this draft into a more coherent document. All agreed that this will take a considerable amout of editing. Some sections of the current version already contain markers indicating the need for clarification. Some points raised during the meeting were:
- Need to describe/define categories
- Service support:
move section further back in the document
           abandon 'Bandwith' in table
- Security: Gerard will provide examples
- Translation and request
reflect the correlation between a particular language and cost (cost per file type [UI, doc etc.] -> per language - by volume?)
           provide list of languages available
The TC was asked to submit comments on the current spec to Peter who volunteered to consolidate them in preparation for the next meeting.
