Comment from: andrea.vine@sun.com Just one comment. Localization is abbreviated as "l10n", since there are 10 letters between the "l" and the "n". Since it is an abbreviation and not an acronym nor an initialism, according to the rules of English it is not capitalized. So in the middle of a sentence or even parenthetically it should be "l10n" and _not_ "L10N". The same holds true for "i18n", "g11n", "t9n", "m17n", etc. Obviously, like any English abbreviation, the first letter is capitalized in titlecase or at the beginning of a sentence.
