I agree that we should take the steps to getting UBL in the registry, but I think we should publish the beta in order to gain the experience and be prepared to do it accurately for 1.0

firstly, let me say that one of the primary deliverables for LCSC is to
publish the UBL Library in a public registry and this one looks  like
the one to go for.

however, there is a task required before we submit UBL into the
registry. that is, we need to transform UBL components into registry
entries. i think this is what Joe Chiusano refers to as serialization??

My suggestion is ...

a. we start looking at the task of making UBL into a ebXML Registry
entry - Joe seems to be the person best equipped to tell us what is
needed so I am happy to contact him on this.

b. we actually dont publish 1.0-Beta but wait until it is 1.0.
