Subject: Re: [ubl-dev] Code list extensibility and substitution groups
An honest to goodness XML and schema expert! Welcome, Duane! Thanks for writing in. So how should code list extensibility (Req. 26) be done, without resulting in a "rat's-nest" of schemas and overrides? Even my little example for restricting currencies to preferred types (excluding the CAD), which works under XMLSpy, breaks down using Xerxes and SAX. And then when you fuss with namespaces, bases, import, includes and redefines, it will work for Xerxes, but is broken for XMLSpy! CAM anyone? William J. Kammerer Novannet Columbus, OH 43221-3859 . Who is running up a deficit of $2.2 billion per day - eh? http://brillig.com/debt_clock/ The only possible justification for this would be if you used some of the money to cull the NHL players strike so we could watch decent ice hockey again. ;-) Duane A.
