Subject: New German Healthcare Case Study with ebXML transport layer
Presentation and details of the system that the German Health Insurance company Deutsche Betriebskrankenkasse (DBKK) has implemented are available from: http://www.ebxmlforum.net They also have a very interesting open source job scheduler that uses XML scripting. http://www.sos-berlin.com/modules/cjaycontent/index.php?id=120 Just shows what can be done with simple lightweight transport infrastructure to reach small business partners. This would plug-in nicely to Oracle A/S or IBM Websphere ebXML messaging support. I need to check also what payloads they are using - not sure if they are UBL-based or traditional UN/EDIFACT.
