Subject: Re: [ubl-lcsc] UBL Schema 1.0-alpha draft-8
Chee-Kai Hi. Many thanks for this. No problems with this schema set. I'll therefore use this as the basis for the 1.0 alpha example instances and go on from there with FPSC. We may need to cover the slight possibility that there was an error in the changing of draft 7 to produce draft 8 models so I'll seek to create duplicate work with draft 7 for the time-being until LCSC decides otherwise. I'll forward the draft 8 schemas to FPSC too. All the best Stephen Green >>> Chin Chee-Kai <cheekai@softml.net> 02/10/03 09:32:15 >>> Here it is. Production Notes: - No referential or apparent duplication errors detected. - No apparent encoding errors observed (as found in draft-7) - Issue with <xsd:schema version> resolved by adding version attribute into <xsd:schema> as first attribute and holding a value "1.0-alpha-draft-8" (the value will be automatically bumped up as draft progresses). - Issue with implementing versioning attribute in instance space not yet resolved pending further discussions/conclusion. - Issue of Turbo XML v2.2 loading error pointed out by Jessica Glace earlier not yet attended to, as I couldn't obtain the same error from other tests, notably those done by Stephen Green using XML Spy v5. - Issue raised by Jessica Glace regarding changing of <ccts:CodeListQualifier>, <ccts:CodeListAgency> <ccts:CodeListVersion> to <ccts:listQualifier>, <ccts:listAgency> and <ccts:listVersion> not committed in this draft-8. - UBL-ised UN/ECE codelists, in particular Country Code, Currency Code, and ModeOfTransport Code as stock values not included in this zip as packaging for redistribution isn't permitted (unless with their written consent). The 3 codes are therefore implemented in this schema set as Placebo schemas. - Please kindly send comments, errors, corrections, bugs, issues, etc to LC list so everyone could share the findings and discuss. For schema validation or errors found using tools and applications, please cite company and product name and version, and operating system environment for reproduceability purposes. Thanks.
