Subject: RE: [ubl-psc] [Fwd: [UNCEFACT-TBG17 - 355] Update of the RSM document of the Cross industry invoice]
Hi Tim,
I think that Mark is on holiday this week, but I will try
to analyze the changes and see what the consequences are for the convergence
work. I will get back to the list in a couple of days.

Dear TBG17 members, After the UN/CEFACT meeting of New Delhi the Bureau and the FMG decided that the XML schema of the Cross Industry Invoice (CII) should be made available by the end of October 2006 as agreed at the Un/CEFACT Vancouver meeting. Due to the fact that the TBG1 approach of the ABIEs and the XML schema generation is different from the TBG6 approach, and the fact that still the CCMA specification is missing, we (ATG2, TBG17 and TBG1) decided to align the RSM of the CII to the TBG6 approach. This will avoid that in the new library there are different approaches for the same concepts. The changes to the new canonical model together with the drafting of new candidate core components has taken a lot of days. Have enclosed the new RSM of the CII. The RSM document the candidate Core Components in chapter ). Due to the Bureau and FMG decision, may I ask to give priority to the harmonization of the new submitted Core Components.
