Subject: [Fwd: Sample UBL Submission in new TBG17 Format]
Here is the example we put together of how the mapping of UBL to UN/CEFACT CCL will work. The task we have is to do something similar to this for the rows in the UBL spreadsheets that have "Transportation" in column W (Context:Business Process)

Andy and I have managed to complete the first sample of the UBL alignment with the CEFACT CCL. We used the Party ABIE as a sample but soon realized we needed all subordinate ABIEs as well - so the result covers more than we originally expected. Please find attached a zip file containing: a. the relevant sections of the proposed UBL common library with the mappings to the CCL in column 'V'. b. the proposed submission to TBG17 with the required UBL core components. NB these sometimes require different names to suit TBG17 guidelines. As you look over these it is worth considering how automated we can make this task. certainly the previous UBL submission and tommy's analysis helps but it still requires a bit a human interpretation and discussion. As far as next steps go, we have a small window of opportunity to include this alignment in the UBL update package but this would mean we need to have it ready by the end of January. I know MArtin is on leave until then so it seems unlikely we can make it. So i suggest we digest on this over the next few weeks then we have a teleconference call early in February to plan how we want to complete the exercise. PS we used CCL07A for this sample but Martin points out that CCL08A may be better as it has more UBL-like components in it already. this also means we may have to revise this sample. -- regards tim mcgrath phone: +618 93352228 postal: po box 1289 fremantle western australia 6160 web: http://www.portcomm.com.au/tmcgrath--- End Message ---
