Members of the UBL TC,

The closing plenary session of the UBL TC meeting in Burlington
will take place from about 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Boston time (GMT -4,
i.e., noon to 2 p.m. California time) on Friday 4 October 2002.

In case we start a bit late and the line is not active on the
hour, please try again 15 or 30 minutes later.

This call is particulary important if you are currently a voting
member of the TC but have not been attending meetings lately.
Under OASIS TC rules, members are subject to removal if they miss
two meetings in a row.  We have a number of voting members who
have missed several meetings.  Until now, we have recognized the
difficulty of travel this year by not pushing hard on this
requirement, but now that we are allowing participation in the TC
plenary sessions by phone, we intend to apply the membership rules
much more stringently in order to remove inactive members.  If you
wish to continue as a voting member of the TC and are not present
at the meeting in Burlington this week, please dial in Friday to
be recorded as present.  If you do not wish to continue as a
voting member, it would be helpful if you could send me a notice
of resignation so that we stand a better chance of reaching a
quorum.
