Subject: Joint meetings next week
Hello UBL TC, In order to achieve the consensus needed to resolve the remaining issues for 1.0 schema generation, I propose that we use next week's conference calls for joint discussions among everyone with an opinion on how we should proceed. Specifically, I would like to see the following schedule: Saturday-Monday 13-15 March: discuss issues in email Tuesday 7-9 a.m. California time: conference call using the usual LCSC slot Wednesday 8 a.m. - noon California time: conference call using the usual CSC, NDRSC, and CLSC slots The big questions needing resolution are: - Use of substitution groups and abstract elements for code lists in 1.0 (vs. considering this approach instead for 1.1) - What goes into the SDT module If anyone sees a reason why we should not adopt this schedule, please let me know. My assumption will be that people who don't actively participate either by phone or by email Monday through Wednesday will by their silence be agreeing to any decision that the rest of us arrive at. Jon
