As I understand it, the problem with document size is only related to
the xpath-files that Ken has produced. The business document instances
will only have the size that the defined context "requires".

That's true, but I suspect that an increase in possible contexts of
elements
will have some relation to increase in possible document size.

Ken can correct me if I got this wrong, but I don't think that his
findings have anything to do with document size; they have to do
with the number of possible contexts for elements and attributes.
