Subject: Namespace URI for UN/CEFACT currency code list
Hi folks, I've been asked off-list about the namespace for the UN/CEFACT code list data type for currency: ... xmlns:clm54217="urn:un:unece:uncefact:codelist:specification:54217:2001" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" elementFormDefault="qualified" attributeFormDefault="unqualified"> <xsd:simpleType name="CurrencyCodeContentType"> ... Given the list ID is "ISO 4217 Alpha", why is there a "5" leading these four digits in the namespace URI? Its use is consistent with references made from UnqualifiedDataTypes and UBL-QualifiedDataTypes. Is this important? It is not used in the qDT module for CurrencyCodeType, so I'm assuming it is wholly localized with the generation of UN/CEFACT code list modules for CurrencyCodeContentType. Is anything outstanding from this thread? http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/ubl/200607/msg00096.html http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/ubl/200607/msg00106.html . . . . . . . . . .
