As you know I was ‘Out of UBL’ for a few weeks there, so I’m not sure what you mean by ‘the changes already flagged in the previous review’.  All I do know is that I won’t have incorporated them because all I was asked to do by Peter was to go through all of the spreadsheets checking the English, the grammar (which varies so greatly that I’m only changing it where it impedes the sense) and the correctness of description.

I have done this for most of the common library (done to the end of Shipment Stage) but the changes are not highlighted; for the remainder of the common library and the document spreadsheets I will leave the highlights in place (in yellow) so everyone can see the proposed changes.  The only really significant changes (above Shipment Stage) have been the descriptions in Reminder Line which previously described about everything except a Reminder Line.

Where I think there is still an issue, I will highlight in red.

With regard the the meeting tomorrow, I think it should be OK as the queuing starts at 08:30, so let’s stick to that time.

I also have some other issues resulting from the convergence work that I want to discuss during the public review time.  These are (reading from my scribbles and not checking them in detail):

1. In Credit and Debit Note, there is an Order Reference in the Header, but no Line Reference in the Line
2. In Debit Note, Monetary Total is qualified by ‘Requested’ - why ?
3. do we need a PayerParty to balance PayeeParty (customer side / supplier side) ?
4. Why all the Parties in Remittance Advice Line ?
5. Why are Contact and Person 0..1 in Party ?
6. What is the meaning of the TaxLevelCode in Tax Scheme ?
7. Do we really need a Tax Category Name BBIE ?
8. Explain how Tax Tiering works.
9. ID in Payment.Reference is confusing; reference to actual payment made should be InstructionID as per the Core Component.
10. Do we need Payment Means in Order ? e.g. to say ‘I intent to pay for this Order with a Purchasing Card / by cash

on behalf of sylvia - who is hopefully asleep, i can add that the TC wanted to have some other eyeballs to review these edits before they were caste into stone as part of the schemas.  we saw a canference call as an efficient way of running through what you propose and signing off.

so it would be less value to have a call without you. if sylvia's time is inconvenient then can you propose another.  

we need to conclude this in the next few days if we want the changes to go into the final package.

also, i am assuming you have also incorporated the changes already flagged in the previous review.

the UBL/TBG1 report is useful because we would all appreciate this perspective going into the CEFACT Forum.  Unfortunately I cannot attend but Sylvia will be there (albeit with her TBG6 hat on).  It would be useful to talk over the differences in approach before you get to New Delhi.
