Subject: Re: [ubl] Draft IDD 2.0 templates

Hello everyone,
these templates are automatically generated to let the IDD get generated
(and updated) through each template during the localization process.

This reason we'll have to add a business process column everywhere on each
template for uniformity reasons.

Also I suggest the Business Process column will be coded to have a little
column and avoid shifting the Excel view continuously during translations
(usually the English and other locale columns need to be visible at the
same time).

Another advise is about the UBL name and definition columns which are
often repeated on the IDD, this reason if we collect all UBL modules
together and we apply an ascending order on the UBL name we'll find we
could save lot of time by translating only one occurrence instead of
2-3-4-5.

This is against the templates we prepared of course because we cannot
understand immediately we are translating the same sentence.

Also, in order to have a uniform localization I remember on the IDD 1.0 I
had to revise all the IDD by using "find" and "replace" features.

After templates will be done and collected into the final IDD I will
suggest to ITLSC to have a global check on this.

Such "uniformity check" I think should be done ordering by the English UBL
Name and definition.

Your comments are welcome !

Best regards

UBL ITLSC
