      JB: Finished addition of items approved in previous calls.

UBL-TBG17 TASK FORCE

   ACTION (10/24): JB to submit the task force to the UBL
   membership.

      Done.

   ACTION (10/31): JB to begin a discussion aimed toward setting
   up a Task Force kickoff meeting (con call).

      Done; meeting set for 00:30 UTC 9 November (Thursday evening
      8 November in the U.S.).

   important that we all understand the mechanics for publishing
   the U.P. as decided at our meeting in Manhattan and expressed
   in the latest writeup by GKH referenced above.

      AGREED to change "update-only" to "update-delta."

SAP PATENTS

   ACTION (10/31): PB to contact Gunther Stuhec of SAP seeking a
   statement from SAP that would "hold harmless" UBL implementers
   such as Microsoft.

      JB: No report yet from PB.

2008 TC MEETING SCHEDULE

OTHER BUSINESS

   BH: (Regarding the tracking item below) Washington area
   SGML/XML Users Group has many members in the U.S. Goverment; we
   could recruit help there.

   JB: Let's devote serious attention to this in the Atlantic call
   11/28.
