2008 TC WORK SCHEDULE

   JB: A revised schedule has been sent:

   However, the IDD timeline is incorrect (no allowance made for
   retranslation of revised definitions).  Please review the rest
   of the schedule.

UPDATE PACKAGE

   See Pacific minutes for review of the second half of the JPLSC
   comments.

   JB: This was a very well done and very useful set of
   corrections.

   AGREED to accept the changes listed in the Pacific minutes.

FEDERAL COMMUNITY OF PRACTICE

   JB (reviews description in the Pacific minutes)

   SW: Also, Marion Royal of GSA set up a TBG17 workspace
   specifically for that effort.

   BH: You need a password and login, then for every Community of
   Interest/Practice, you need separate approval.

   JB: Orientation: Enable javascript in web browser, then

   Next step is Stewardship: http://et.gov/stage3.htm

   The objective is to form a Federal Community of Practice for
   UBL in order to (1) foster the adoption of UBL for U.S.
   government procurement and (2) to develop requirements for
   additions to be included in UBL 2.1.

   BH and AS are willing to participate, but one or more people in
   government need to step up to this as champions.

   ACTION: JB to send a note to Mike Onder of USDOT for followup
   in conversation with AS this Friday.

   ACTION: JB to check with MG regarding possible DoD involvement.

   ACTION: JB to check with GSA contacts regarding possible
   participation.

   ACTION: JB to prepare a general invitation with copies to SW,
   BH, Owen Ambur, Susan Turnbull

2008 TC MEETING SCHEDULE

   See Pacific minutes.  We need to know ASAP if anyone has a
   problem with the proposed dates for the April meeting in Rome.

      SW: There is a GS1 conference immediately following
      UN/CEFACT in Brussels that I may have to attend.

TC CONCALL SCHEDULE

   See Pacific minutes (no change).

   JB: Note that there are no UBL con calls next week.  Regular
   schedule resumes the week of 10 December.
