MINUTES OF PACIFIC UBL TC MEETING

STANDING ITEMS

   Additions to the calendar:

      TM: Have UN/CEFACT Forum schedule for next few years, will
      send to JB for u.x.o. events page.

   Review of Atlantic call

      No comments.

ADOPTION SC / UBL FOCUS AREA

   AGREED that his role as events editor (appointed by GKH) makes
   JB responsible for judging the relevancy of additions to the
   ubl.xml.org events calendar.

   TM: Regarding the discussion of the NIST XML Schema Quality of
   Design Tool on the ubl list (msg00030.html ff.), subsequent
   discussion with BH and TonyC indicates that it's possible to
   get UBL included; will follow up on this.  Regarding SG's point
   about TaMIE, this has great potential, but a suite for UBL
   should be developed outside the TC.

   This is something we should talk about in our next Atlantic NDR
   work session.]

UPDATE PACKAGE STATUS REPORT AND SCHEDULING

   JB: The update package has been submitted to OASIS!

   ACTION (1/8): JB to revise the work schedule spreadsheet.

      Pending acceptance of Update Package by OASIS (which should
      happen this week).

CUSTOMIZATION GUIDELINES

   ACTION (5/20): TM to revise by second week of June.

   Moved here from the Atlantic call for tracking purposes:

   ACTION (3/5): JB to prepare copyright guidelines.

      Pending.

UBL 2.1 ISSUES LIST

   ACTION (12/18): TM to populate the new issues list with all
   currently known UBL 2.1 issues.

      Pending.

2008 TC MEETING SCHEDULE

   4-8 August 2008 in Montréal

      Confirmed.  Hotel Europa, rue Drummond (the week prior to
      the Balisage conference in the same location).

      RESERVE HOTEL ROOMS NOW FOR THE AUGUST MEETING IN MONTRÉAL.
      You can always cancel later.  JB has booked at the Europa;
      ZR has booked at the Marriott.

   19-23 January 2009 in Fremantle

      TM: Hope to have definitive venue info within the next few
      weeks.

TC CONCALL SCHEDULE
