Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] (UBL-28) Support for Verified Gross Mass
[ https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/UBL-28?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=62821#comment-62821 ] Roberto Cisternino commented on UBL-28: --------------------------------------- I'll collect here some requirements before building the whole ABIE. VGM (Verified Gross Weight) Parties: The party responsible for the VGM is the Shipper playing the role of weight certifier, so we could use one of these terms: - Shipper Party - Certification Party - Weight Certification Party The "Shipper" is not enought generic for any industry so I would tend to use CertificationParty or WeightCertificationParty. Weight methodology: This is a BIE that may be requested and I expect it is a code: - WeightMethodCode (0..1) The existing UBL GrossWeightMeasure is usually enough to express a gross weight so the important thing is to provide the indication if the weight is verified (VGM), somethng like: - VGMIndicator (0..1) This indicator could be provided at the same level of the GrossWeightMeasure for simple usage of this VGM requirement. A reference to the weight order: - WeightOrderReference (0..1) A draft ABIE could be more generic than a strict VGM information aggregate. The real usage for this information is that we could have just a Weight Bill (not certified by the Shipper) or a Certified weight (VGM), so a more generic structure could be preferred, something like: WeightBillReference (0..n) - ID (0..1) - GrossWeightMeasure (1..1) - NetNetWeightMeasure (0..1) - NetWeightMeasure (0..1) - WeightMethodCode (0..1) - WeightDate (0..1) - WeightTime (0..1) - VGMIndicator (0..1) - WeighingParty (0..1) - CertificationParty (0..1) - WeightOrderReference (0..1) I will add further info if necessary.
