To avoid confusion it may help to view this design in an iterative three step process:
1. design the data structures for the information required.
2. design the processes for exchanging this information.
3. design the message/document types required.
... and repeat as necessary.

On that basis in terms of data structures required I think we are talking of additional information elements to support the discovery of trading parties.  These should be extensions of the existing Party structures.  The four areas of information Roberto has identified are:
1. Corporate details (websites)
2. Operational details (services?)
3. EDI details (sending and receiving)
4. Social Media details (other communication channels?)

Is that correct?  Are there more?  If we can identify these first, then we can move on to the messaging requirements.
