Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] (UBL-34) Hub document change tracking

Ken Holman commented on UBL-34:
-------------------------------

Working with the early-August version of the text (mostly just UBL 2.1 relabeled as UBL 2.2), I have modified my ISOSTS stylesheets and the transformation from OASIS DocBook specification to ISOSTS specification. This is a draft of the two layouts produced from the one source XML:

     https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/document.php?document_id=58863

In the source XML you find the OASIS cover page information and the ISOSTS cover page information. The ISOSTS information includes the Foreword and Scope that are not published in the OASIS rendering. There is some content rearrangement to accommodate ISO Directives Part 2 requirements.

I look forward to comments on style and layout and I'll see if I can address the issue or if I have to leave it the way it is. If people think this is acceptable, this is the layout that we will be submitting to ISO/IEC ITTF for publication.

Note that the outside front cover page, inside front cover page and outside back cover page are the responsibility of ITTF to replace with the metadata that they know that we don't know. A final change before submission is to replace the OASIS stage name with "International Standard" (a quick entity change).

Hopefully from this point on it is turnkey. When we make the final changes for UBL 2.2 it should all come together.

I've asked TC Administration if we could include the ITTF layout in the OASIS public reviews so that we can get feedback from the public before we submit the document to ITTF. We will then remove the ITTF layout when the committee specification is published.

Please let me know if you have any questions. . . . . . Ken

> Each voting member has edit privileges to the document. Please use a colour for your text to know where changes have been made. Don't worry about font or formatting, as the content is being stripped into XML when I export it.
> As you make changes to the hub document, please add comments to this ticket as a record of the work being done, as it is being done. It also tells others that your content is ready to be checked. If we didn't have this ticket to comment on, then we wouldn't be able to review each other's work.
> Note that many of the images are squished ... just stretch them out if you need to look at them. I'm not sure what happened in the document conversion process.
