JoséMiguel, I think that what some people are trying to say is that as UDDI grows in acceptance, you would be using applications or browsers that go to a UDDI registry to find information about service providers that with whom you would want to communicate. The DNS service would not be replaced because in order to communicate with the registry or to communicate with the entries within the registry, they will have URLs that will probably still need to be resolved through a DNS. Perhaps a better term that "substitute" is "augment" or "enhance as a next tier".
