Daniel,

Thanks for bringing this up. I'm of the opinion that this is such an
important area that we would all like to participate in such discussion
and thus I'm not sure we need a standing subcommittee until we can
identify a series of activities and deliverables that warrant this. 

Keisuke-san has now kicked off work on the "UDDI as the registry for
ebXML components" Technical Note. Let's get the ball rolling there and
see where it takes us.

I propose forming a standing subcommittee dealing with UDDI-ebXML
interoperability/integration issues.  It will allow those interested in
these issues to have an open forum in which to discuss them without
interfering with the rest of the TC.  That, in turn, will encourage the
discussion and development of relevant BP's and TN's.

In general, it may be appropriate to form subcommittees for each
technology in some way applicable to or interoperable with UDDI (as was
done for WSDL).
