OASIS WS-BRSP TC Meeting

5 February 2015, 11:00pm to 12:00pm PDT

0. Call to Order and roll call

 

Jacques Durand calls the meeting to order and welcomes everyone.

 

* Roll call:

This meeting quorates.

 

Agenda :

 

1. Administrative: approval of Nov 6 minutes, review of Gershon informal minutes Dec 18.

2. Current business: Assessment of interest for OASIS standard for BP1.2, BP2.0, RSP1.0, BSP1.1 profile

        - Any other statements of use besides IBM's? We will actively solicit some more only if we have explicit interest from some other member(s) about moving to OASIS Std.

        - BP1.2, BP2.0: potential candidate (see email 10/27 showing past testing on BP1.2, BP2.0 from 3 companies)

        - RSP1.0 and BSP1.1: can they reach 3 statements of use?

        - Plans for this year, frequency of meetings.

 

 

Minutes :

 

1. Administrative: approval of Nov 6 minutes, review of Gershon informal minutes Dec 18.

- Nov 6 minutes are approved by unanimous consent.

- Ram: depending on workplan / workload / meeting schedule, Ram favors and requests Jacques to continue to chair this TC.

- upcoming work might be arbitration of conflict in test tool results versus what the profile claims.

- proposal: 2 month schedule for meetings. The TC would operate just for "maintenance" of the profiles. General consensus on this.

- given the relaxed schedule and workplan, jacques will try to remain chair, although he cannot absorb more work. a transition to another chair is still welcomed.

 

 

2. Current business: Assessment of interest for OASIS standard for BP1.2, BP2.0, RSP1.0, BSP1.1 profile

 

- Any other statements of use besides IBM's? We will actively solicit some more only if we have explicit interest from some other member(s) about moving to OASIS Std.

- At this time we have one statement of use from IBM.

- Ram notes that a CS is considered mature / sufficient enough, and an OS is not entirely necessary.

- no one expressed intent to submit a statement of use.

 

Next meeting: In April. Chair will propose dates and try avoid schedule conflicts.
