Subject: WS-DD 2nd interop test event (February 23-24, 2009) report
WS-DD
conducted its 2nd interop testing event during February 23-24, 2009
hosted by Canon at their Santa Ana, CA campus. During the event, both DPWS and WS-Discovery
scenarios [1] [2] were tested amongst the participants. The results of the
testing are as follows. ·
DPWS
testing o

implementations: Microsoft Windows, Ricoh, Canon, University of Rostock. o
Testing § 4 out of 4
implementations successfully ran all the non-secure scenarios and tested
Committee Draft 2 namespace (support WS-Addressing 1.0). § 3 out of 4
implementations successfully ran all the secure scenarios in client or server
configurations and tested Committee Draft 2 namespace (supporting WS-Addressing
1.0 and transport-level security). o
No
technical issues were discovered. ·
WS-Discovery
testing o

discovery proxy roles and tested Committee Draft 2 namespace (supporting

discovery proxy roles and tested Committee Draft 2 namespace (supporting
WS-Addressing 1.0 and compact signature). o
No
technical issues were discovered. ·
