Subject: i060: a more complete proposal
This proposal extends on and
includes the previous one proposed by Chris: remove the expression "reliable
message" and use "reliable delivery" or the like instead. In wsrm specification (0.7): ---------------------------- Additional updates: L77 (Intro): "...for reliable
message delivery." reword as "... for reliable delivery of
messages". L160 (Section 2, comment on Fig 1): "Figure 1 below illustrates the
entities and events in a simple reliable message exchange." reword as: "Figure 1 below illustrates the
entities and events in a simple reliable exchange of a message." L198: (Proposed by Chris) Replace the first bullet in section
2.3 Invariants as: The RM Source MUST assign each
message to be delivered reliably a message number (defined below) beginning at 1 and increasing by
exactly 1 for each subsequent message to be delivered reliably. L235: "...the intention of
providing a reliable message exchange." reword as: "...the intention of reliably
exchanging messages." L448 (section 3.4) : "Messages
for which the delivery assurance applies MUST contain a <wsrm:Sequence> header block." Reword as:
"Messages for which a reliable delivery is required MUST contain a <wsrm:Sequence> header
block." (rationale: Associate more clearly
the notion of "reliable delivery" with the presence of Sequence
header, now that it is the expression in
use. Any reference to DAs is unnecessary here.) In wsrmp specification (0.2): ----------------------- L95: "..to ensure reliable
message delivery." --> "..to ensure reliable delivery of
messages." |
