Subject: WS-Addressing Status 2006-11-13
There are two proposals in play at the moment that show
promise of leading to a WS-Addressing CR33 resolution They differ mainly as to the style of policy assertion
(positive or negative) used to describe the forms of addresses that may be used
in replies. The group seems to be leaning toward a simpler WSDL marker
that only declares that Addressing is required with the fine details being
expressed as policy assertions. Here are links to the proposals in the WS-Addressing public
mailing list archive. http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-ws-addressing/2006Nov/0046.html

Although I for one think that these proposals are promising
and gaining support, be clear that as yet there has not been a decision. Thanks -bob |
