All:

Adobe has been kind enough to provide me with a forum to be myself and promote technologies.  This is via a television show called “Duane’s World” (sort of like Wayne’s World but with me instead).  The theme of the show is “how humanity meets technology in a tangible manner” featuring music from indy artists and code samples.

Requests:

I would like to promote WS-SX on it in a future episode and am looking for volunteers who have video cameras and can record some comments about it and get me the footage.  Adobe will pay reasonable costs.  I need about 3-5 people to explain the concepts and provide commentary on the following:

1. What WS-SX is and it’s status.
2. Why was WS-Security not good enough for some?  Why innovate?
3. How their company (or customers) is/are going to use WS-SX
4. How the world will use WS-SX.  Will anyone even be aware?
5. Where you can find out more/ get involved?
6. Where people can download toolkits.
7. screenshots (Camtasia for Windows, IShowU for Mac) of how it works or how to code using it in various languages (Java, C#, et al)
8. Anything else of interest.
   

I am calling for volunteers to contact me directly at dnickull at adobe dot com if contributions are possible.  All you need is a full HDTV camcorder and be able to film yourself for 2-4 minutes in 1440 * 1080 P resolution and be enthusiastic about the work.  The shows are really getting good feedback so far and there are 12 scheduled for this year alone.  I’d love to have some of you featured on it.

Production:

The format will be completely vendor neutral and meant to primarily answer the above questions.  This is not meant to promote Adobe, only be a public dissemination of the truth.  Any co-production help would be good too to help guide the script to introduce WS-SX to developers.
