From: ETSI_Events Sent: 03 August 2009 14:20 Subject: ETSI SECURITY WORKSHOP - 20 - 22 January 2010 - Call for Paper Dear Madam, Dear Sir, The annual ETSI Security Workshop (http://www.etsi.org/SECURITYWORKSHOP) has become the greatest annual international security standardisation workshop, bringing together international Standards Developing Organisations (SDOs) and security experts to discuss recent developments, share knowledge, identify gaps and co-ordinate on future actions and work areas. The workshop will include overviews of the work being done in the area of security across standards and technical bodies, along with presentations from major organisations involved in security initiatives. This annual event will take place in ETSI Headquarters in Sophia Antipolis France · from 20th January 2010 (start at 2pm) · until 22nd January 2010 (end at 1pm) ETSI is now calling for papers! Please send a short abstract (not exceeding an A4 page) of your presentation to events@etsi.org, together with the title of the presentation, name and coordinates of the presenter and the topic of reference as listed below by 9 October 2009. Presentations should have a focus on SECURITY INNOVATION on one of the following topics: Next Generation Networks security, Mobile Telecommunications systems, ICT trustworthiness and integrity Research and Innovation RFID and NFC Security issues Internet of Things Identity Management and your Privacy Cryptography Smart Cards and future trends Quantum Key Distribution Machine to Machine communication Standards prioritisation and evaluation Other areas could be considered. In particular we would welcome papers on the practical implementations, and issues such as practical use of standards, the human factors and examples of insecurity. Acceptance of abstracts should be confirmed by 30th October 2009.
