Subject: Suggestion on agenda for next week's meeting

Dear Eric and Ian,

I have a suggestion for the agenda for the TC meeting of 12 January.

This suggestion is influenced by the fact that I am the current owner of many of the outstanding issues relating to WS-Coordination. Unfortunately I have limited ability to work on WS-TX matters in the next week, as I am on vacation. I am going to be able to phone into the meeting next week, but will not have access to a computer or the internet.

For this reason, I would find it helpful if we concentrated on clearing out the less controversial issues on WS-C that are currently on the table.

I also believe that the e-mail discussion (tho' extremely fertile) on the inter-related bundle of issues 007, 009 and 014, is
a) still pretty controversial, and

b) has not yet  played out on some key issues (e.g. use of participant ids for checking from above and mixed outcome; how to achieve WS-AT Completion protocol; MEPs)
I would therefore like to suggest the following list for the agenda item on issues. There are quite a few issues in the list, even if they have attracted less controversy, so I imagine we will not find ourselves lacking work for the time available.
a) Issue 002 subdivided into 4 new issues (016 to 019 if I recall correctly), relating to subcoordination. This was postponed from the last meeting due to the desire to split up.

b) Issue 008 (AlreadyRegistered fault)

c) Issue 015 (ReplaceParticipant)

d) Issues 010, 011 and 012, which relate to defining terminable/non-terminable sequences, and their use or reference in WS-C, WS-AT and WS-BA.
Obviously, if the committee does wish to discuss 007, 009 and 014 then I will try my best to present and contribute as effectively as possible, but it will be more difficult for me to organize my thoughts in a helpful way on those more intricate points.

Yours,

Alastair
