Subject: Issue 098 - WS-C/WS-AT: Comments on WSDL/XSD files
This issue is identified as 098. Please use the subject line for future correspondence on
this issue: "Issue 098 - WS-C/WS-AT: Comments on WSDL/XSD files". From: Ram Jeyaraman
[mailto:Ram.Jeyaraman@microsoft.com] Protocol: WS-Coordination, WS-AT Artifact: WSDL, XSD http://docs.oasis-open.org/ws-tx/wscoor/2006/06/wscoor.wsdl http://docs.oasis-open.org/ws-tx/wsat/2006/06/wsat.wsdl http://docs.oasis-open.org/ws-tx/wscoor/2006/06/wscoor.xsd http://docs.oasis-open.org/ws-tx/wsat/2006/06/wsat.xsd Section
and PDF line number: See description below. Issue
type: Editorial Related issues: None 1. The WS-Addressing schema is
imported in both http://docs.oasis-open.org/ws-tx/wsat/2006/06/wsat.wsdl
and http://docs.oasis-open.org/ws-tx/wscoor/2006/06/wscoor.wsdl,
though types from this schema are not used in either WSDL. The imports
could each be removed. 2. Further, the wsa:Action extension
is in the WS-Addressing namespace instead of the WS-Addressing WSDL Binding
namespace in each document. (wsa:Action <> wsaw:Action, this changed
from the submitted version where they were in the same namespace). The
namespace should be changed to http://www.w3.org/2006/05/addressing/wsdl
and it would be nice to use the conventional “wsaw” prefix. 3. Check the copyright notices
in XSD/WSDL files, and reconcile them with the copyright notice in the
corresponding specifications. Proposed resolution: See issue description. |
