Subject: future discussions
One of the interesting issues for future discussions is something that came up in a call >2 weeks ago. Nick and I had a brief discussion about the expressive power required for descriptions of public behavior of business processes. I added a section to explain the rationale for the ideas in the current spec "Usage of BPEL Abstract Processes" document (uploaded to this group's document folder on May 21). I know that there is no consensus on the community at large on whether a language with restricted expressive power is feasible and/or better for public behavior descriptions. There are obvious pros and cons. This would be an interesting and illuminating discussion to have. Satish
