Comment from: cindymcnally_6@hotmail.com it appears that there is an issue with 1.1 spec and how variables are declared within a catch clause. according to spec, variables are 'deemed to be declared by virtue of being used ....' no facility, however, ie. a type attribute, exists to define the faultVariable's wsdl message type (which is necessary when attempting to match a fault handler.) this forces parser to require that variable be declared in an enclosing scope, which i realize is not what was intended, as the variable should only be visible within faultHandler. have i misinterpreted the spec, or is this an issue that needs to be resolved?
